49 Busy Busy

Awww. Sometimes my boyfriend is a sweetie pie pumpkin head. Pretty flowers :)And just when I was beginning to wonder why I keep him around, just kidding! He is my best friend and he is funny that is why I keep him around...



This is how far I am on my dress. I added the midriff and all I need to do now is the skirt and the zipper and then I am on my way! It looks cute on so far, but I didn't want to show everyone until its finished. It is a great neckline!

On my way to Milwaukee in less than 2 weeks! woo hoo!!

I picked up this little cutie on a trip to Fairfax with friends. My lovely friend Megan got it for me as an early birthday present. THat is right, you remember now. My birthday is in 1 month and 2 days...

So what do you do instead of the projects that you already have? Go out and buy a new one of course! I couldn't help it. I went into the store for other fabric, and ended up looking at the patterns and falling in love. I am working on this now. Next week, back for more. It has been really satisfying following a pattern. I make stuff from my own made up patterns so much, its fun to see that you really can take things STEP by STEP and create something awesome.

gonna be a long weekend! I miss Ryan already! Thankfully I have this lovely little lady to keep me company. And more on the way!

44 DRESS!!!

So, I made this dress. I will get a better pic I swear. But I like the fuzziness of this.



Next time, I will make it with a solid color, probably black or navy blue. or red. Those are my favorites. I will also not put darts in it until I try it on. Cause these ones are messed up. And I am not fixing them for fear of ripping the dress to shreds out of frustration. I will also wish I had a dress form. and Yes those are my socks on the ground :)

Ryan leaves tomorrow morning for a weekend trip away. This weekend is going to be FILLED with sewing. Cause this lady is not allowed to buy anything almost ever again! :)

In dress news, it is driving me crazy and looks slightly like scrubs. I am deciding if I like it or not at this moment. I have to add buttons and I will make my decision. Also, today I joined a gym. I have big plans of going in the morning before work because I am really good at getting up early. Then I will have my evenings to craft. and watch bones without worrying about sweating to the oldies at home. And I will still have my babydog walk and hopefully I can shed some of these unwanted pounds that are sneaking up on me. No that is not a cookie in my hand...anymore....
