77 Working on stuff for me :)

Here is the shirt I am working on all cut out! It is a mixture of 2 patterns I have right now that I like. We will see how it goes. I hope to finish it tonight. I have a few other projects in the works, I just need to give myself the kick in the booty to get them worked on. The scarves and the twinsies' scarves are still on the plan for me in the near future.

It is so chilly here it is easy to start dreaming about fall and winter! I know other parts of the country are not so lucky, but we have the good old fog out here in San Francisco to keep us coooool.

I have also been reading a new book cause it is fun for me to read at the gym. It is Peter Straub and Steven King and it is called the Black House. It is amazing to me how difficult Steven King can be to read. He is SO detailed. And coming off of the Twilight books is a HUGE change. Those are so easy and quick and this is making me slow down a bit. I like it. More book for my buck :) I am waiting for the last Twilight book to come out in paperback before I spend money on it. I don't really like hardback books anyways. I am glad to be reading again after a break from it. I get to a point where I am like, geez I read so fast that it feels like I wasted money. But this summer and both my trips got me back! and now while I am on the elliptical I have something to do besides read closed captioned sports. ewww.

Also, I am very proud of Ryan, he has some posters in a store on Haight, he is consigning for the first time! Yay!!!

This weekend will be fun, I am going shopping, for fabric and for clothes. My favorite!

75 Better day

Hello there!



We went to sketch Tuesday this week and it was so much fun! Met up with friends, drew a little, hung out. It was good times. There they all are drawing while I take their picture from behind some flowers...


I am having a much better day today and am ready to start up a weight - loss marathon. Lately I have been feeling so much more heavy than usual and after the 2 weddings I went to this summer and looking at myself everyday, I have decided that I need to kick it up a notch. I am just not feeling great myself. I need more walking, more water, less sweets, planned out meals that make me feel good and to stop eating so late. That one is the hardest cause Ryan works late and I like to eat dinner with him. I am just not taking care of myself though and I am feeling it big time right now.

73 OMG it has been too long

This is the longest I have gone since I committed to every day! Well I am not perfect so there : ) Haha. I have just been enjoying getting back to California life. This weekend I even went to the fabric store! Woo Hoo!

I am going to make some scarves with scarves(you will see...) and these are the colors I have started out with for tiny patchworks. And because I am really good at being late to the party with things, I am going to get myself one of those little hexagon thingys and make myself some cute honeycomb-ness. But at JoAnn's they were $11 and I was being cheap :)



I also wanted to show you a pic of my gorgeous hunk that I live with in his Tux from the last wedding! There aren't any pics of us up so I have to get some posted if I see any! This pic is kind of terrible but you get the idea. My camera died 5 seconds after I took this.

This weekend was full of alone time and LAUNDRY and a laundry terrorist. SOMEONE who lives in my building is SUPER self righteous and thinks that no one should be able to use dryer sheets and therefore feels the need to SHAME us by writing TOXIC on the box. I feel slightly threatened and not at all sympathetic to the COWARD'S actions. I hate that! Live your own life, you know? Crafting and blogging is so supportive, its a wonder that people think that they are educators with their creepy terrorist actions. I will not budge or let someone tell me what to do. Sillyness. It is especially funny because the person would have gotten further with me had they spoken up. Now I just think they are hypocritical(oh what, you own TWO cars?) LAME dryer sheets for all! PS I am actually sensitive to the chemicals issue, but the way to my heart is not through defaming my property. So I am not swayed. I will use my dryer sheets until I feel it necessary not to.

OY. Happy to be back, miss the family. But I am TIRED! Can you believe it? A whirlwind Ohio vacay and here I am. A fancy wedding(hopefully there will be pics on facebook to borrow cause we were ADORABLE! and my camera died) A great birthday and some really quality family time with both my favorite nephews(due sometime later this year!) and I am exhausted. But I am also reminded of how lucky I am in life. I have a great family and the best most gorgeousest boyfriend you could ask for.
