Having motivation problems today. I bought that really cute fabric to make my sister's baby(he isn't out yet) a blanket. Hopefully she doesn't read this. If she does than she has something to look forward to. I am having a hard time motivating myself to do just about anything right now. Please disregard the mattress pad, I am currently in the middle of 7 loads of laundry today...

This weekend went by too fast, all of them do.

I am making brownies in an attempt to motivate me, so far its not really working.

I am a little obsessed with Kokeshi dolls right now. Here is my newest scarf. I have a bunch more in mind. I need to go and get some fabric this weekend. I will be sewing away. Hopefully this can be a chill weekend cause I really feel like I need it.

Today I am doing my pilates video for the first time in awhile. I need a workout you know! The next three days should be going to the gym in the morning. My goal is 5 workouts a week. I can do it I can do it. I need to keep telling myself that!

Tonight: dinner - sewing - SLEEEEEEEP.

81 Scarf with a Scarf

So here is the cut out scarf with a scarf :) It was fun to sew up and I really like how it turned out.



Here it is on. It is pretty cozy.

The fact that I have been working also makes me happy. A shirt, a scarf, a tiny scarf for the elephant, it all involves me crafting. Which feels pretty good. I have more to work on tonight which gets my happy meter going.




Yesterday we went to the flea market. Unfortunately, I was too overwhelmed and ended up with nothing but a sunburn. Ryan, however, found some good stuff! A pair of rad sunglasses, a flannel, and a model of an anatomically correct human skull that he gets to glue together! Hopefully I will have better luck next month. I am hoping to wake up earlier and go earlier. It is definitely worth it!

I really love this star! You should get one too. Or get one of Giant Dwarf's star crowns! Or a bunch of felt. I pretty much loved her already and after meeting her I love her even more!

79 Shirt

So here is the shirt all done. I really like it and the merging of 2 patterns was successful I do have to say! I kind of feel like the frankenstein of this shirt.


I don't love this pic of me, but it does show you what the shirt looks like on. Tomorrow I hope to get a better pic of it. I went to Renegade today and it was ok. I got something from Giant Dwarf, a star hair comb thing. I will show you later. It is amazing and beautiful. I also saw a lot of awesome people and had fun with the Museum girls.

Tomorrow we will hopefully be going to the Alameda Flea market cause that is what I would like to do on a lazy Sunday. But, I may want to just be lazy tomorrow and sew too. I feel like my weekends have been flying by! I need a little more time off for sure.

Baby loves corn on the cob. She eats it like a person. So now when we have some, she gets an ear too!



I realize that this is weird. But it is also amusing.

Now I am going to drink some coffee and work on my shirt while simultaneously doing laundry. I live on the wild side...
