It is funny when you set your mind to something, almost always it works out! I have been trying to make more time and use more energy sewing then sitting around. I think it is working out quite well! Of course I do have a lot of help from "This American Life" and episodes of 30rock for watching on nbc.com, but other than that, its all me. :D

I have a couple of shows coming up in a few weeks and I am trying to get some stuff accomplished for that!

I also have set my mind to cooking more. Ryan has been painting that sign for his work and so yesterday I made garlic bread and baked ziti(well really rigatoni, that is all the noodles I could get), It was *so* tasty and homecooked and great. We used to cook all of the time and lately it has been all going out and picking something up. Its not as good for you, not as good tasting, and I have to leave my little sewing nook. I don't like any of those things. So I am pledging to myself to cook at least 5 nights a week. I have to get to work making a list of meals for the week and getting Ryan to get ingredients from his market.

I am starting to think about sewing up a few gifts for the fam, I think this year is going to be mostly buying stuff but I may have a few things I want to whip up. I am starting to get so exicted! This is definitely my favorite time of year. I have to go to Target this weekend, I think I will pick myself up a Holiday - y present!
