Keeping Busy

We are almost all the way settled into our new little spot! It is very exciting. I have been doing unemployment by reading a lot in the Dark Tower Series by Stephen King(I am all the way up to 1/2 finished with Wizard and Glass):

Cooking a bit and watching WAY too much TV.(Have you seen Raising Hope? My new fave thanks to Hulu and Glee! how could you not be watching Glee?!)

Hopefully in the rest of my unemployed time I can get some more sewing done and much more cooking and reading :)

Moving Moving Moving

We are in the middle of arranging and moving all of our stuff to our new place. It is amazing! Baby is not so sure. I think she will come around. Anyways, just wanted to pop in to say hello! I am finding it hard to photograph with stuff in it.

Life = Stress

And I know stress can be a good thing. at times and all. So, I decided to share my new pad with you!

It has a lot of potential, but we have a limited budget. So it may take awhile to perfect. Here's to getting a job and quick! I have a thing or two in the works that hopefully pan out. Exciting opportunities for sure!! Keep your little fingers crossed for me! Being unemployed is stressful!

Fun with friends

Yesterday I got to go to some fun stuff with my pals. We went to the Vintage Clothing Expo, where I got this fun scarf:



Then we went to Japantown for JPop Summit. That did not disappoint. And I even got frozen yogurt. Yum!

Today we are going to a party with friends and then maybe even moving into our new apartment! Yay. We are moving on upstairs to the apartment above ours! Yay we will have a bedroom.

Day One of Unemployment

Making a zombie. Seriously, I need to spend a day working on clothing.

I think every day I am going to get a little better at this. I was less sad yesterday and more positive but I still didn't get a lot done. I need to use this time wisely. I do have a book that I am reading that is really captivating and has been hogging some attention. I just have to keep on keeping on.

And tomorrow is the JPop summit! Yay

So... I am officially unemployed...





Expect a whole lot of this!

I hope that I can keep myself busy and find something soon. But something good for me and good for my career. I am hoping I do not have to compromise anything I want. And thankfully I have the flexability to keep that focus at least for a little bit.

Wish me luck! And buy my toys to keep food in my mouth. haha just kidding. :)
